Short, and in plain English. We use your details to plan and deliver your shoot, and to reply to you. We do not sell them, and we do not add you to a newsletter.

In one line

We ask for as little as the shoot needs, and we tell you who sees it.

This page explains what we collect, why, who it is shared with, and how to have it removed. If anything here is unclear, message us and we will answer in writing.

What we collect

What you send us when you enquire: your names, the way you would like us to contact you, your travel dates, the location you have in mind, and anything else you choose to tell us about the day you want.
What a booking needs: the details required to apply for photography permits at the locations in your package, and the sizes needed to prepare your outfit.
Payment: your card details are entered on a secure payment page operated by Stripe. We never see or hold your card number. We see only that the payment succeeded.
How this site is used: anonymous statistics through Google Analytics, such as which pages are read and roughly which country a visit came from. This does not identify you.

What we use it for

Planning your shoot, applying for the permits it needs, preparing your outfit and styling, delivering your photographs and film, and replying to you. Nothing else. We do not sell your details, and we do not add you to a newsletter.

Who sees it

Only the people the shoot requires.

Your shoot team: the photographer, and where your package includes them, the filmmaker, hair and make-up artist and kimono dresser. They receive what they need for your date and location.
The sites you are photographed at: shrines, temples and gardens require an application, and some ask for the names on it.
Stripe, which processes the payment.
Google Analytics, for the anonymous site statistics described above.

We do not pass your details to anyone else, and we do not use them to advertise to you.

Your photographs

The booking terms cover this in full, and the short version is here. You are free to use your photographs privately and to post them on social media. We may show your photographs and film on our website and social media. If you would prefer not to appear, tell us at any time and we will leave you out. You do not need to give a reason, and it does not affect anything else about your shoot. The full wording is on our booking terms page.

How long we keep it

We keep your enquiry and booking details while your shoot is being planned and delivered, and afterwards for as long as we may need them for our records and for the tax and accounting obligations a Japanese company has. When they are no longer needed for either, we delete them.

Asking us to remove it

Message us and we will tell you what we hold and remove what we are able to remove. Where something has to be kept, for example a record of a payment we are required to retain, we will say so plainly rather than leave you guessing.

Cookies

This site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. You can block this in your browser settings or by using a private window, and the site works normally either way. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not run advertising trackers on this site.

Who is responsible

TAMAKI Pre-Wedding Japan is operated by CJC Inc., a company registered in Japan. Our contact details, together with the information required under Japan’s Act on Specified Commercial Transactions, are on our legal notice page.
